Justin Timberlake didn’t blow the breathalyzer and failed tests before arrest

Singer Justin Timberlake arrested for drunk driving in the USFlipar

Justin Timberlake was arrested in June this year in New York for driving under the influence of alcohol. After the incident, he lost his driver’s license. According to a new document, the singer refused to take a breathalyzer test and failed sobriety tests administered by a police officer.

In the early hours of June 18, Timberlake was detained after being caught by a police officer disrespecting traffic signals. As reported by the Daily Mail, Timberlake refused to take a breathalyzer test or a test to detect chemicals in his blood and failed sobriety tests.

Timberlake refused three times to take the breathalyzer test and did not want to sign the document that would formalize his refusal. Observing signs of drunkenness, the police officer performed other tests.

The police report indicates that Timberlake had red, watery eyes, the smell of alcohol on his breath and difficulties balancing and paying attention.

In one of the tests, Timberlake had to walk nine steps in a straight line, turn and repeat the process, but he was “very unbalanced” and “couldn’t follow the instructions properly.”

Another test required him to lift one foot off the ground for 30 seconds without moving. According to the report, Timberlake swayed during the test, had to open his arms to maintain his balance and lowered his foot ahead of time.

Faced with these signs, the singer was taken to the police station and, once again, refused to perform any test to prove drunkenness.
