Singer-songwriter Beyoncé, 42, used social media last Friday (26) to show some of the American athletes who will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics. “We want to welcome the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on behalf of the American team,” says the artist.

In a special clip for the event, Beyoncé highlighted the dedication of the athletes and asked Americans to cheer for them. “These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us. The people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. Everyone cheering together for them,” he defended.

Sprinter Noah Lyles and gymnast Simone Biles were some of the athletes who interacted with the artist. In addition to them, Beyoncé also became the ‘godmother’ of Sha’Carri Richardson , Caeleb Dressel and Katie Ledecky.

In the video, the musician appears singing one of her newest hits, the song “Ya ya”, present in “Cowboy Carter”. Beyoncé’s new project bet on country and reached digital players in March of this year, when she resumed her career as a singer.
