Drake is going through trouble and has mansion flooded after rains in CanadaReproduction

The strong storms that hit the city of Toronto, Canada, on Tuesday (16), affected the mansion of rapper Drake, who shared videos of his flooded home on social media.

In a story shared on Instagram, the singer filmed a manĀ  pushing water caused by the rains against the glass doors of his mansion. As he walked through the room, Drake was seen walking ankle-deep in water with a broom in an attempt to push the flood out of the room.

Even with the efforts, the sound of water running into the room could still be heard in the video. Despite the situation, Drake took the episode in stride, and stated that he was solving the impasses caused by the rain.

The 50,000-square-foot mansion, dubbed The Embassy, was conceived by Drake and Canadian architectural and interior designer Ferris Rafauli. The property sports a great room with a 40-foot-high ceiling, exotic hardwood floors, a limestone entryway, and a basketball court.

On Tuesday, the Toronto metropolitan area was affected by torrential rains, accumulating about 10 centimeters of water, according to local authorities. The storm left more than 167,000 people without power, and with no forecast of when the supply will be restored.
