Canadian actress Mamie Laverock, 19, suffered an accident on May 26. The young artist, who became known for playing Rosaleen Sullivan in the series “When Calls the Heart”, aired by Record TV in Brazil, fell from the fifth floor of a hospital in Vancouver, Canada.

On the GoFundMe website , the young woman’s family lamented: “We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26, Mamie, who has been in intensive care for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a hospital security unit and taken to a balcony, from which she fell five floors. She suffered life-threatening injuries, underwent several extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.”

Mamie suffered a “medical emergency,” which has yet to be explained, and has been hospitalized ever since. The actress’ mother, Nicole Compton, said she “made it in time to save the life” of her daughter. She set up an online fundraiser to help pay for Mamie’s treatment. The family has raised more than $15,000

Mamie Laverock’s career

The young woman started acting at an early age. His first film was “War Is War” (2012), when he was only 7 years old. She was also part of the cast of the horror film “The Hollow Child” (2017) and the series “Psych” and “Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events”.

However, her most notorious role was that of Rosaleen Sullivan in the first two seasons of the series “When Calls the Heart”. The cast of the series and the channel it produces, Hallmark Channel, mourned the actress’ incident.
