Marcus Grubert, the husband of gospel singer Heloísa Rosa, was arrested in the United States accused of sexually abusing a child in April 2023.
According to the Hope and Justice Foundation, a sales institution supporting the case, the crime would have happened when the child spent the night at Marcus and Heloísa’s house.
At the Meeting with Patrícia Poeta this Wednesday (22), the victim’s mother talked to the presenter about the case.
“The children were very friendly, very close. At the time, she insisted a lot, saying that her child was very lonely and that she liked being with my daughter. That night, I figured I’d have no problem. When I arrived, I noticed that she was very tense, nervous, but I didn’t think it could be that,” said the mother.
The presenter questioned her daughter’s reaction to meeting her parents. “She reported that something strange had happened, but I can’t report details because the case is still under secrecy,” he explained.
According to the mother, the child is receiving professional help to overcome the trauma. “She had to relive the story and tell what happened for her sake,” he said.
