Last Wednesday (15), Ivete Sangalo and Ludmilla, 51 and 29, announced the cancellation of their career-celebrating tours. Sangalo would make a 30th anniversary special. Ludmilla would celebrate 10 years in funk. In the midst of a clash with the production company that took care of the presentations, 30e, the controversy increased because of fans who had already bought tickets.

That’s because the sale had been available since February (Ivete’s tour); and December 2023 (Ludmilla’s tour). Ticket prices for Sangalo’s concerts cost between R$100 and R$700. Ludmilla’s, on the other hand, were sold for between R$95 and R$500.

The Bahian went public to talk to the followers who follow her on social networks. Through Instagram stories, she gave details of the relationship with the producer and explained the reasons that made her opt for the cancellations of the shows that were scheduled.

“Today I come here to tell you that this is a very serious moment, with a lot of responsibility. After all, I’m 30 years into my career. In these 30 years of career, transparency, accountability and, obviously, love in everything I put in, have always been priorities for me. They are very strong pillars of my history and my life,” he began.

“Right now, for me, it’s very difficult, because it’s a dream and a very special moment, which is my 30-year career. I thought, I created a show, I thought a lot about our story, how I was going to do it.”

Before venting on social media, the musician had sent a press release in which she explained that 30e “would not be able to guarantee the necessary conditions for the artist’s performances to take place the way they were conceived with the excellence and safety promised and agreed upon”.

“But the realization of a project of this magnitude requires the mobilization of a complex structure, which would only be feasible if there was an adequate level of planning and organization, which would guarantee, with the necessary advance, all the conditions promised, expected and agreed upon in the contract,” the statement added.

Responsible for the production of Ivete and Ludmilla’s tour, 30e, which also takes care of the “Super Tour”, of Jão, also spoke out after the announcement of the cancellation made by the artists. The production company said the decision came from the singers.

“The production company regrets, but respects the unilateral decision of the artists and clarifies that, at no time, did it evaluate the cancellation of the two tours,” the note begins . 30e didn’t know that Sangalo would cancel the shows and found out only with the press release.

“Regarding the ‘Festa’ tour, for reasons of demand, the company proposed to the artist and her team a readjustment of the structure and production and was surprised by the published statement. Regarding the ‘Ludmilla in the house tour’, there was no negotiation prior to the artist’s exclusive decision, and her statement,” he says.

“With more than three million people impacted annually by the events it promotes, carries out and produces, 30e can affirm its full capacity to fulfill its commitments to its customers, partners and sponsors, and informs that the other announced tours are confirmed and will take place,” the note concludes.

Ludmilla

Like Ivete, Ludmilla sent a press release and, in addition, decided to use social media to apologize to viewers. Tickets for her tour had already been purchased since December 2023.

“Those of you who follow me here know how demanding I am with my deliveries, how demanding I am when it comes to my audience, my fans, to bring joy to them, to celebrate. So, it’s a very serious thing that couldn’t be done anyway,” the funk singer began.

“I stopped my whole schedule to do this. It was a moment that I was separating to celebrate together with you, but that, unfortunately, due to things that are out of my hand and my control, we will not be able to make it possible”, continued the wife of Brunna Gonçalves.

Although she announced the cancellation of the tour, Ludmilla hinted that she would try to redo the shows in the future. “But that’s not to say that ‘Ludmilla In The House’ will never happen. When I put something in my head, it’s easier to get my head off than the thing. We’re going to make it happen in the best possible way, in the best possible way,” he argued.

Like Ivete, Ludmilla attributed the cancellation of the tour to 30e when she sent a press release. “For reasons beyond the control of Ludmilla and her team, the ‘Ludmilla in the house tour’ is canceled. The decision was made upon the non-compliance by the production company responsible for the tour with the conditions provided for in the pre-contract for the feasibility of the shows planned for months”, points out the text sent by the artist’s team.
