Once again Anitta was a victim of religious intolerance after sharing photos at the Candomblé Center he attends. With the images, the singer announced the release of a song and music video.
After losing more than 200 followers, the artist did a live on her Instagram profile to comment on the case.
“I can’t judge these people and say ‘oh, you’re no good, I’m the one’. I think each one reflects […] what’s vibrating at the moment. Everyone has phases in life that are vibrating at a low frequency,” she commented.
The Brazilian explained that she has suffered from criticism in the past. “I can’t see the name-calling and being angry. Not anymore, one day I did. What I can do is keep doing things that I believe in, that can influence people to be more, to be better, to seek an evolution,” he continued.
Next, she analyzed the use of her image for debates. “I’ve always known that when I have an opinion of something strong, I end up cutting off a large group that follows me, that follows me. When we make these decisions, the good ones remain. I’m choosing quality over quantity. I was once that person who wanted more, numbers, not today… I’m pretty focused on that these days, and if it means that instead of me doing a show for 20,000 people, I’m going to do it for 5,000, that’s fine, I’m happy for 5,000.”
The song ‘Aceite’ is present on the album Funk Generation and has a video inspired by the religion of African origin. “It’s a dubious lyric that, in my view, brought both my career and my own things, as if it were my identity, as if it were my cute dove or my Eshu speaking for me,” he revealed.
“Anyone who wants to get out of my life is welcome to leave. Thank God, everything is great. In the past, I lived with a full house. Now I count on my finger who I’m going to call. And the same I do with my career,” the singer concluded.
