Driver contradicts Tesla and subjects Cybertruck to unusual test; See

The value of a Tesla Cybertruck in the ”entry-level” version is US$ 79,990 (R$ 395,000) and the top-of-the-line Cyberbeast costs US$ 99,990 (R$ 500,000)Reproduction

Tesla’s pickup truck has been the subject of many comments, most of them negative, including problems with recall, paint rust, and stuck throttles, among others. Recently, a content creator drew attention on TikTok by taking his Tesla Cybertruck to wash in an automatic car wash tunnel, even though Tesla advised against this practice.

The U.S. manufacturer recommends that owners avoid washing their car in a car wash with brushes or anything that could damage the vehicle’s exterior. However, to generate engagement, Jeremy Judkins decided to go against the recommendations and took the vehicle into the wash tunnel, joking: “Do as I say, not as I do, because of course I did it myself.”

Sitting in the back, the content creator recorded the entire process, highlighting that the car’s warranty does not cover damage to the paint or exterior, but questioned: “A Cybertruck has no paint, so what is there to damage? That’s the question I have.”

After the wash, upon returning home, Jeremy showed the result. Surprisingly, the exterior was not damaged, but there was a water leak in the trunk, wetting some parts of the compartment. He advised to avoid placing expensive items in this area when washing the vehicle.

Despite this, overall, he was satisfied with the result of the pickup from Elon Musk’s automaker. Jeremy explained, “There are a few points that need attention, but overall, it looks pretty good.” However, the risk involved has led some viewers to express skepticism in comments about whether the investment in the electric pickup truck is worth it.

One user commented, “So, Tesla’s paint can’t survive a car wash? Reason No. 4256 Why I Won’t Buy a Tesla”

Another added, “No one should risk taking any car to a brush car wash.”

A third commented wryly: “Kk, the bulletproof truck can’t handle some soapy water and some soft bristles? If I paid all that money for it, I’d be laundering it too.”
