The dog Maya, of the breed border collie, went viral on social media when he demonstrated that he knew a series of commands, such as getting beer for his tutor, putting away his own toys or even mopping the floor.
In an educational Instagram profile, Maya’s owners teach the public how to get their own dogs to learn these commands, demonstrating Maya’s incredible skills in the process.
In addition to the unusual commands, the profile also teaches the dog to brush his own teeth, to desensitize the dog to the noise of fireworks, and even simpler commands, such as sitting, lying down, and rolling over.
Border collies are known to be the most intelligent of all dogs, according to the ranking by writer and psychologist Stanley Coren. It is worth mentioning that the breed is also recognized for its willingness to learn.
