Stellantis is demonstrating its determination to offer consumers big discounts. After the Toro pickup truck received a R$10,000 reduction in its total price to make room for the arrival of the Fiat Titano, now it’s the turn of the Mobi to receive a discount of R$7,000, regaining the title of Brazil’s most affordable car. The offer is valid until March 31.
With this discount, the model that previously cost R$ 71,990 is now available for R$ 64,990. With this, the Renault Kwid, its direct competitor, loses its position as the cheapest car in the country, as the Mobi now occupies that position until the end of the month. For those who opt for financing, the brand is offering a down payment of R$ 32,209, with the remaining balance divided into 60 installments of R$ 899, with a rate of 1.39% per month.
The discount applies only to the Like (basic) version of the year 2024/2024 and only in the color Carbon Black. In addition, due to the model being manufactured this year, it now comes with stability control (ESP) as standard, which was previously optional. This inclusion has increased the price of the car by R$2,000, since before the optional extra cost R$700.
The equipment list has also been updated, including emergency braking alert (flashing alert when you hit the brake hard during sudden braking), seat belt alert, and daytime driving lights.
The Fiat Mobi offers a solid list of standard items, such as power steering (Kwid offers power steering), electric windows and locks, air conditioning, rearview mirror arrow repeaters, ABS brakes, front airbags, on-board computer, tire pressure monitor and rear wiper and defogger.
Under the hood, the Mobi continues to use the well-known 1.0 Fire Evo engine, which produces 74/71 cv and 9.7/9.3 kgfm (ethanol/petrol), always coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. As for consumption, the Inmetro indicates averages of 9.6/13.5 km/l (petrol/ethanol) in the city and 10.4/15 km/l (petrol/ethanol) on the highway. The hatch reaches 100 km/h in 14 seconds, with a top speed of 152 km/h.
