Actress Adriana Esteves will return to TV Globo soap operas. According to information from Folha de São Paulo, the artist has been confirmed for the next nine o’clock soap opera, which has the provisional title “Mania de Você” and is written by João Emanuel Carneiro.
This will not be the first time that the veteran has worked with the author, as the two began their partnership in 2012 with Avenida Brasil. Adriana Esteves played the biggest role of her career: the villain Carmininha.
In 2018, she played the villain Laureta in “Segundo Sol”, the writer’s soap opera. The last production in which she acted was “Amor de Mãe”, when she played the character Thelma, who shared the leading role with the characters of Regina Casé and Taís Araújo. In recent years, Adriana Esteves has dedicated herself to the world of series, such as the role she played in “Os Outros”, a Globoplay series.
“Mania de Você” is scheduled to premiere in September. Directed by Carlos Araújo, João Emanuel Carneiro repeats his partnership with the director in “Todas as Flores”, available on Globoplay.
